Mental Health FAQs : The first step towards happiness
Q : Why should I worry about my mental health? I am a perfectly normal person!
A : The words 'perfect' and 'normal' are two of the most difficult words to define. None of us are perfect. And having problems of the mind is quite natural – anxiety, loneliness, depression, sadness, anger, resentment. These are all normal human responses. It’s the ability to manage them and restricting them to impact our activities in our day to day life as well as impact our life decisions which are in question. Think of it this way - even a physically fit person can catch a cold or fever which needs to be taken care of. Similarly, an otherwise 'normal' individual can also have some problems with his/her mental health that needs an equal amount of attention.

Spiritual Health FAQs : The first step towards freedom
Q : Who is Vivekananda?
A : A boy who believed in himself. A man who had the courage to follow his dreams and convert them into reality. A monk who had the charisma of a king!

About Us
Vivekananda Study Circle (VSC) has been existing at IIT Delhi in informal ways for a very long time. In 2014, we decided to launch it on a formal platform under the umbrella of NRCVEE. The purpose of VSC is to spread the ancient wisdom of India among the younger generation so that they can live their lives in a better way with more joy, more success and more overall fulfilment.
Under this forum, we shall be discussing various issues related to spirituality and its practical importance in our day to day lives. It is quite remarkable that we can find solutions to most of our modern problems just by digging deep into the wisdom that our ancestors had a few thousand years back!
Our guiding principle is this quote by Sister Nivedita, "If the many and the One be indeed the same Reality, then it is not all modes of worship alone, but equally all modes of work, all modes of struggle, all modes of creation, which are paths of realization. No distinction, henceforth, between sacred and secular. To labour is to pray. To conquer is to renounce. Life is itself religion. To have and to hold is as stern a trust as to quit and to avoid."
